Garage door opener?

I just brought a new house with a garage, but it can not open. So now I am shopping for a new one, but I dont know which one suitable for me.

What should we consider when buying a garage door?

Screw vs chain drive?

Speed?

HP?

Which brand names are good and which are junk.

Please help

Answer:

ok this is the easist. Stay away from genie, overhead, and wayne dalton. Genies are junk and are made by overhead, and wayne dalton is having problems with some of their openers. The best to go with is a Liftmaster. It has a one peice rail and very good. If you do not go with liftmaster go with either a chamberlain or a craftsman. Now as far as chain or screw I'd say neither. Go with a belt. Belt drives are much quieter and work just as well. On Liftmaster belts they have a lifetime warranty on belt and motor. Belt drive is the only way to go. Now as far as HP, a half horse should be enough. The springs on a door do all the work. If a door is properly balance you should be able to lift it by hand with minimal effort. If you cant you need to get door fixed. If a door is in balance a 1/4 horse would be more than enough.

one of those moods.

The wilted flowers that I gave, not as nice as your bouquet.

Every lyric that I wrote not as smart as the words you spoke.

Starlight above my home town, ain't as bright as the star I've

found. Every drawing that I drew was never ever as cute as

you.

My online Tarot Spread for today says.....

Today, your loved ones won't give up until they've shaken you out of your gloomy mood, Joe! Touched by the joyful and dynamic atmosphere generated by the Wheel of Fortune, you manage to raise a smile after a concerted effort from your nearest and dearest. But they'll still need to be careful not to rub you up the wrong way, for with the Hanged Man dictating your state of mind, it won't take much to offend you and make you dig your heels in. What a shame! In your professional life, there is no lack of opportunities for success or change - thanks to the movement of the Wheel of Fortune. But what good are such opportunities if you hesitate and procrastinate? Too much prudence and a lack of confidence - either in yourself or in your partners - could mean that you let these chances pass without seizing the moment... What a shame!

Flow

On my knees

Here in my room

Praying 'should I die before I wake..'

Memories consume

Thoughts free flow

The night skies clear

Show soul

Kiss the stars with me, dear

The sun rises

Another dream, true

The years go by

My heart searching for you

Nonono.

"Odi et amo quare id faciam fortasse requiris / Nescio sed fieri sentio et excrucior."

It's a poem by the Roman poet Catullus. Translation into english is: "I hate and I love. Why would I do this, perhaps you ask?

I do not know. But I feel it happening and then I am tortured." My 'husband' had it as his headline on my space. It's kind of ironic to me that it would be on his profile, when that poem describes with every syllable exactly how I feel toward him. It eats me up inside. It haunts me. It ruins so many things in my every day life, my relationships, friendships. I've allowed so many things to fall apart because of the pain Jeremy put me through. I don't think it's fair to the people impacted, much less me - but I'm sure I'm just paying for some bad thing I did, karma's catching up to me like it always does. I'm tired of missing a man who treated me like dirt and being a bitch to a man who tries to make me happy and show me how much he cares about me. Two things my bastard spouse never even attempted throughout our entire marriage. And yet, here we are. I'm thinking of him, wishing I could talk to him. Is there not something seriously fucking wrong with this picture?

You Are CURVES AHEAD

When you're confronted with a problem, you take it on immediately - but with your eyes wide open.

You deal with stress well. You take things as they come, and you don't panic.

In fact, you often enjoy challenging situations. Difficulty makes you feel alive.

You are alert and observant. You notice every twist and turn in the road.

The Importance of Underwear

Always wear clean underwear in public, especially when working under your vehicle...

From the Northwest Florida Daily News comes this story of a Crestview couple who drove their car to Wal-Mart, only to have their car break down in the parking lot. The man told his wife to carry on with the shopping while he fixed the car in the lot.

The wife returned later to see a small group of people near the car. On closer inspection, she saw a pair of male legs protruding from under the chassis. Although the man was in shorts, his lack of underpants turned private parts into glaringly public ones...

Unable to stand the embarrassment, she dutifully stepped forward, quickly put her hand UP his shorts, and tucked everything back into place. She took a deep breath and stood up boldly to face the crowd. She looked across the hood and found herself staring at her husband, who had been standing idly by. The mechanic, however, had to have three stitches in his forehead.
